Thank you for shopping at Langmuir Systems. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase:

Warranty Policy: 

  • All Langmuir Systems products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty on hardware and a 6-month limited warranty on electronics.
  • Warranty benefits only apply to the original purchaser and expire if goods are resold.
  • To file a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase and your machine's unique serial number (if applicable) via email.
  • Langmuir Systems guarantees the goods received to be defect-free for a period of 12 months for mechanical hardware and 6 months for electronics.

Warranty Coverage: 

  • Items that meet the following conditions will be replaced free of charge:
    • Items received in defective and unusable condition.
    • Items that become defective and unusable after use due to manufacturing, design, or material defects.
  • The warranty does not cover certain types of defects, including but not limited to:
    • Defects that do not negatively affect the item's functionality (e.g., scratches, dings, dents).
    • Defects caused by improper assembly, use, or maintenance.
    • Defects caused by improper storage or exposure to the elements.
    • Defects resulting from normal wear and tear.

Warranty Claim Process: 

  • If a damaged or defective item is covered by the warranty, Langmuir Systems reserves the right to request the defective item to be shipped back before supplying a replacement.
  • Langmuir Systems will provide a shipping label to cover the expense of the return shipment, and the Buyer is responsible for handling and packaging.
  • Langmuir Systems will ship either a refurbished or brand new replacement item within 5 business days of receiving the defective item.

Returns and Refunds Policy

All products sold directly by Langmuir Systems are eligible for return and refund. Please refer to our Returns and Refunds Policy below for details.

Return Eligibility: 

  • Only the original buyer of the item is eligible to return the item for a refund. Proof of purchase is required for eligibility.
  • A return must be requested within 30 calendar days following the delivery of the item. Requests after this period will be denied.
  • 'In-person' returns require prior permission from Langmuir Systems.

Return Requirements: 

  • The item must be in unused condition, free of defects, and in its original packaging.
  • Langmuir Systems will inspect the item within 5 business days of receiving it to determine refund eligibility.

Refund Process: 

  • If the item meets the refund eligibility requirements, a refund for the original transaction amount minus a 20% restocking fee will be issued to the Buyer within 5 business days following the completion of inspection.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Return Authorization: 

  • Prior to returning a product, Buyer must contact Langmuir Systems to obtain a return authorization number (RMA). All returned products MUST have an RMA. 

Return Shipping: 

  • If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without an RMA will not be accepted.
  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise specified.

Damages and Issues: 

  • Buyer shall inspect all products upon receipt and notify Langmuir Systems of any issues within five (5) business days.
  • Credit will be issued to Buyer only after inspection for conformity to this return policy.

Exceptions: 

  • Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods, custom products, personal care goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Sale items and gift cards are also non-returnable.

Exchanges: 

  • If you need to exchange an item, return the original item, and make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds: 

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds will be automatically processed within 10 business days.
